What drives me most is telling the stories behind the game. Every player on the ice has a journey—early mornings, long practices, setbacks, sacrifices, and the love of the sport that keeps them going. I’m passionate about sharing how they started, where they came from, and what fuels them to keep pushing forward. Through my lens, I try to capture not just the big plays, but the emotion, the determination, and the moments that define who they are.
Leah Hollenbach:
There’s something unforgettable about the sound of skates carving into fresh ice, the echo of pucks hitting the boards, and the fast-paced rhythm of the game unfolding in real time. Being at the rink puts me right in the heart of that action. Through my lens, I get to freeze moments that might otherwise go unnoticed—the determination in a player’s eyes, the split-second reactions, the celebrations, and even the quiet focus before a faceoff.
